Dear God, please help me get clear about my next step. Soon I'll be leaving my current job and looking for something more in tune with my soul purpose. I desire to live in an intentional community that honors You and the Earth and to study arts and crafts. I yearn to live very simply in the heart of Nature. At the same time I need to earn lots of money to help my husband with finances.
Some specific questions arise about this, especially about how to honor my heart:
First, about credit. I observe that much of my life energy up until now has been invested in credit card companies and other financial institutions. I want to change this but don't know how to live without a credit card. All I know is that I'm tired of playing the game. I would love to just tear up my credit card and go live in the woods. Of course, we intend to pay off the debts already accumulated. We just don't know how. I asked my husband what he thought of declaring bankruptcy, and he is strongly opposed to the idea. I don't blame him. What do You think of this?
My second concern is about timing. How much do I go by what astrology says and how much by my desire? Should I just forget about astrology and do as my heart pleases when it pleases to do it and expect only something good to come from it?
My loving daughter, let Us first talk about timing. No, let Us talk about following your heart, because that is the question here, whether to follow your own heart or be cautious because an astrologer said one thing or another.
Everything affects everything else. There is no corner of the world that is not affected by the Sun, Moon, and stars. Every corner is also affected by you and every other animate or inanimate being. It is possible to say that you affect the stars and the revolving of the Earth. It is more than possible to say. It is accurate to say.
The planets are a great part of My creation, but they are not the rulers of it. Much more goes on behind the scenes. To think that the planets control your life is a little bit like thinking that a timepiece regulates the illusion of time. A clock is a tool or indicator. It is not the controller of it.
Let Us look at this from another angle now. Let Us say that you skip along happily in life. You don't know anything about the confluences of the stars and planets. Every day may not be what you would most prefer. Some days are better than others, but you have been skipping along listening to your inner sense. Along comes an astrologer who tells you to be careful in this spot and that, and then you are not skipping along so happily anymore. You sense danger and you slow down. You hold back. The sounds out of someone's mouth make you tiptoe. Instead of asking your deepest heart, you hear the refrain of someone else's words.
You are someone who must listen to her heart. Remember, we are not talking surface idea or whim, but a deep murmuring from your heart that keeps calling to you and won't leave you alone. Not escape but a going to, not fleeing the past but a joyous entry into the present.
What is the danger that the astrologer foretold? What is danger? Danger is an idea that man has made. What danger can befall? You think of many things, and these are not to think of, My dear Annette.
There is no danger. Nothing can happen to you. If a train should run over your body, nothing has happened to you. You know what I am saying. A shell comes off the walnut, and that is all. It is not the big thing the world seems to say.
The purpose of your life is not to prevent danger. That means you are scared of life and what it might hold. That is not living life. That is being frightened of it.
I also do not say, "Run in front of a train." I do not say to throw caution to the winds.
I say, "Follow your deepest heart."
You can even be staying where you are and following it, preparing for your heart's journey. When you are going on a trip, you can look at maps and compare places. You can have fun preparing.
Know that you have been guided all your life.
Because something didn't work out the way you wanted or the world says it should does not mean it was a mistake.
All your life led you to Me, and that is a good thing, wouldn't you say?
Bankruptcy? I laugh. That is only a word. Your credit with Me is good.
The world wants to control you, and that is what you don't want. You don't want to be controlled. You want to be free.
Turn your attention away from the past. Debt is from the past. It is stale energy. You no longer want to be held to the past.
Begin the present. It begins with your awareness.
You are not a prisoner in society. You are my beautiful child to whom I gave free will. That cannot be taken from you without your consent.
Forgive those who trespass against you.
Honor Me in your heart. I know you do. You would like to be with comparable souls who adore Me as you do. You want to live in a community of angels. How to say this? A community of angels does not really exist in the way you would like it to. Angels exist on Earth, and many live together, but nothing in the relative is ideal from a human point of view.
You are desiring souls that desire you. They may be right in front of you, and you haven't noticed. Often they appear in unlikely places. You will have to identify them.
You can change your life right now where you are, when you change how you look at it.
You can feel bleak anywhere. You can be happy anywhere.
