Dear God, how can someone be the instrument of Your love when he has never experienced it?

That is an impossibility. No one would be alive who had not experienced love.

Some have experienced little love and others great love. The measure of love one has received is not the measure of their lives. I am tempted to say that the love they give is, but that would not always be accurate, for what is identified as love and given as love is not always love.

What someone does with his life is not always cause and effect. Some who have had all the love that anyone could ask for have sunk themselves into mire. Do you dispute this?

One who has been denied what would be considered his share of love, one who has had misfortune, one who has been misused, he has great opportunity. Some of the greatest human beings in the world dug themselves out of mire. They gave what they did not get. All the obstacles and reasons and excuses in the world did not stop them. Indeed, their lacks may well have pushed them forward. For one who has suffered greatly, his choice is simple, and that is to leave suffering behind.

It is too easy for Human beings to make themselves victims of their past lacks, impoverished due to their past, incapable due to their past, inculpable due to their past. You will agree that no one must stew in his past, no matter how grievous. Therefore, they must get out of it. How do they? By making the decision to. By dint of will. By desire. By knowing they can. By being greater than suffering.

You have great compassion in your heart for those who have suffered, but compassion is the least to give. It does not always serve well. Give something greater. Give to those who suffer the gift of not defending or upholding their suffering. Have other thoughts. When you begrudge their suffering, even in your own thoughts, you are doing for them what they themselves must not do. Do you feel you must plead their case with Me?

There is more to life than what is handed out.

Be My valiant eyes on Earth, and see beyond the drear. Do not you be stuck in the mire of world thoughts, for you are meant to go beyond them.
