Dear God, I am confused about something. Why so many levels of "people" — saints, angels, archangels, planetary beings, spirit guides, etc. — if we can come directly to You?

Because of the way people see. Analogies are all around us. How many people will take their complaints or praise directly to the CEO? How many more would deal directly with a customer service rep? Saints, angels, and those other mentioned are My customer service agents, acting as intermediaries of My Love for those still too bashful to come before My throne directly.

Is it wrong to communicate to specific angels, guides for specific purposes?

Again, this is not really an area where right or wrong come into play. To use another analogy — sometimes people stop at small specialty stores to be sure they can get exactly that one little thing they want. Hence Raphael for healing, etc. Others will go to the superstores that carry many other things, and usually end up going home with more than what they came for. Ultimately it's a matter of trust and control — do you trust Me to give you what you want/need? Or do you need to control My gifts by calling on the specific one you think you need? My love flows to all, but it flows in rivers to those who open up and trust Me for all circumstances. But for some, a trickle, controlled by them, is what they think they need.

So one should always pray directly to You?

One should pray as they are led. It is difficult to explain. Seeking My Love is always a good thing. Just seek and be easy. Let Me work through you. I don't mind if you call it Light, Love, God, the Angels, as long as you do acknowledge the light that abounds outside the confines of your ego.
